I’ve been wanting to see Pinto Art Museum since last year, also given that it is just in Antipolo. And at last, with lots of spontaneity, I saw it with my new girl group. I’ve been in the Engineering word for almost 6 years now so I don’t have many girlfriends or acquaintances. So imagine how ecstatic I am when my boyfriend introduced to me the girlfriends of his childhood friends.
The boys were busy one Sunday afternoon so we decided to have our own girl date. We were just supposed to go to a cafe but decided to drive all the way to Pinto Art Museum last minute. We were all from Rizal so it was just a 15-minute drive.

PINTO ART MUSEUM
The place itself is already a piece of art and it is seriously huge. Don’t worry they provide maps in the entrance. There are numerous galleries to discover, sofas, artsy beds around, and even a pool. The place is landscaped close to nature with ponds, bridges, and stairs, so I advise not to wear heels. It actually will take a minimum of 3 hours to be able to roam the whole place, and best to go around 3:30 pm to 6 pm for it is not hot and the lighting is just perfect.
And guess what people? There’s free ice cream, taho, iced tea, and turon when you got tired of walking.
PINTO ART MUSEUM ARTS
The art they offer comes in all different forms. I’m not really an art person but I got to appreciate all the artists and the stories behind their masterpieces. How much more if you’re a pure-blooded art person? You’ll die of happiness here. And there are pieces for sale here too.
This one is a bothering art. It makes me sad contrary to my smiling face. It’s the UST Main building with hundreds of rats and to come to think of it that the artist is a Thomasian graduate. It is not written what’s the reason for his hatred of my alma mater but whatever it is I’m still a proud Thomasian. UST made me experience more of life and mold me into a much stronger and better person. He might be standing in a different opinion. And I respect him.
One reason that I really wanted to see this place is the Santorini feels I find in their galleries. Every place that is Santorini-inspired is an automatic wanderlust trigger on my body.
The place is still a beaut at sunset. It’s not even scary at all. We already left around 6:30 pm tho it closes at 6 pm.
INSTAGRAM ALERT
And of course, this gorgeous place is a good place to do crazy and artsy poses with girlfriends. Instant #igersmanila but I really think more of #igerstaytay since our boyfriends are from Taytay, Rizal haha a horrible joke I’m sorry. Our boyfriends are village friends since they are in diapers (14 years to be exact). Since I’m the newest member, they never let me feel like I was one. These girls are as beautiful as the place and very strong too.
We are like art, we can be pretty to others or weird or simple or an abstract but what really matters more is our story and our worth. Charot!
To more places that I’ll walk to.

[…] in Antipolo City, is one of the most aesthetic museums in the country. I’ve been in this museum 4 years ago with some of my girl friends but it was really more of a photo shoot than an art appreciation day. […]
